Reduce Your OBE Workload
Under twenty minutes per course, per semester.
That is the target, and it is the number the whole product is designed around. Here is precisely where the time currently goes, and what happens to each part of it.
- 70% workload reduction
- Zero data re-entry
- No spreadsheet, ever
Where the time actually goes
Nine tasks. Seven of them should not need you at all.
What it takes today
What it takes on Udgam
Before —Writing course outcomes for a new course — an evening, minimum
After —Reviewing a draft generated from the syllabus — under five minutes
Before —Building the CO–PO matrix cell by cell in a spreadsheet
After —Adjusting a pre-filled matrix and sending it for HOD approval
Before —Writing question papers and tagging each question by hand
After —Selecting from AI-generated questions already tagged by level
Before —Building a rubric from scratch for every project or viva
After —Editing a generated rubric with descriptors already written
Before —Re-typing marks from the ERP into an attainment spreadsheet
After —Marks arrive by API or a CSV template you fill once
Before —Calculating direct and indirect attainment with nested formulas
After —Calculated automatically, and traceable back to individual questions
Before —Chasing students to complete the course-exit survey
After —Deployed automatically, with reminders and a one-click nudge to non-respondents
Before —Writing up continuous improvement evidence before an audit
After —Logged as you go — trigger, cause, action, evidence, outcome
Before —Assembling accreditation evidence from three years of files
After —Exported from live data whenever the IQAC asks
The part that hurts most
You should never type a mark twice.
ERP integration
Where your institution's ERP exposes an API, marks sync automatically once an assessment is graded. Pre-built connectors exist for the common Indian systems, and a documented REST API for anything custom.
CSV template
Where it does not, you download a template pre-filled with roll numbers and the right columns, enter marks once, and upload. No format wrangling.
Validation before it lands
Missing entries, marks above the maximum, and statistical anomalies — an entire class scoring zero or full marks on one outcome — are caught and flagged before they reach your attainment figures.
Multiple assessments can be uploaded together at the end of a semester, so the entire term’s data entry is one action rather than eight.
Continuous improvement
The cycle documents itself while you run it.
What opens a cycle automatically
- Any course outcome falling below your institution's threshold
- Any programme outcome below 55%
- More than 70% of a course's assessment sitting at the lowest two cognitive levels
- A course-exit survey average below 3.0 out of 5 on any outcome
What you actually do
| Step | Your effort |
|---|---|
| Pick a root cause | One selection from a structured list, plus a sentence |
| Choose an action | One of three evidence-based suggestions, or your own |
| Set a date | One field |
| Attach evidence | Upload the attendance sheet or the revised assessment |
| Close the cycle | One click after the follow-up assessment |
The complete log — trigger, cause, action, evidence, outcome — formats itself into the accreditation report. You never write it up separately.
What you get back
Insight you have never had, as a side effect of work you were doing anyway.
Class heatmap
Every student against every outcome, colour-coded. Who is struggling with what, at a glance, in week six rather than at the end.
At-risk list
Students below threshold on two or more outcomes, with a one-click personalised nudge you can send from the same screen.
Cognitive distribution
What proportion of your class's performance sits at each level. Usually the first time a department sees this honestly.
Question-level insight
Which kinds of question your students handle well and which they consistently fail — which tells you what to reteach, not just who to worry about.
Attainment trend
Movement across assessments through the semester, so a decline is visible while there is still time.
Survey response rate
Live, with a one-click reminder to non-respondents. No more chasing by email.
reduction in OBE workload per course, per semester
target total time per course per semester, including marks and review
marks you should ever have to type twice
Every OBE tool before this one extracted effort from faculty and gave nothing personally valuable back. That is not an adoption problem. It is a design problem.
10X Faster
Accreditation in a click. Projects in a semester. Placements in a season.
Placements
Not more drives. Better matches. Lasting placements.
Co-working
Universities and industry, working on the same problems at the same time.
