Grow Beyond Your Campus

Right now, your reputation ends at the edge of your department.

Everything you have built — the courses that work, the students who succeeded, the industry problems you have quietly solved — is invisible past your own corridor. This is the part of the platform that changes that.

  • 8 development tracks
  • AICTE hour equivalence
  • National Expert Directory

Your industry-facing profile

Nothing on it is self-declared. That is the whole reason it works.

A directory of self-written biographies is worth nothing to a company trying to find real expertise. Every element of an Udgam faculty profile is derived from evidence the platform already holds.

Verified expertise tags

Derived from the courses you teach, the development tracks you have completed and the industry engagements you have delivered. Not from a description you wrote about yourself.

Teaching effectiveness trend

Composite of your students' attainment trend at 70%, course-exit survey at 20%, peer and HOD rating at 10%. Shown publicly as a direction — rising, stable, building — never as a raw number.

Cognitive depth fingerprint

A radar of which levels your students consistently reach. If your students perform at the highest levels, you are surfaced as a higher-order thinking specialist — a genuinely rare designation.

Frameworks published

How many course frameworks you have published nationally, and how many other institutions have adopted them. This is your reach, stated as a number.

Industry engagement record

Every lecture, advisory role and training programme delivered, with the organisation's rating and attendee satisfaction attached to it.

Student outcome track record

Aggregate attainment of your students over time, and the placement outcomes of alumni from your courses where they have chosen to share them.

On the effectiveness score

The teaching effectiveness score is visible internally to your institution admin for support decisions — not for appraisal — and publicly only as a trend direction. Udgam’s position is that a metric which becomes an appraisal instrument stops measuring teaching and starts measuring compliance.

Eight development tracks

Self-paced, certificated, and counted toward your AICTE hours.

Every module carries video content, reading material and an assessment. Completion needs a pass at 60% or above. Certificates are platform-issued, and hour equivalence is documented automatically in your institution's faculty development report.

The National Expert Directory

A list people actually want to be on.

It belongs to you

Your profile is not your institution's asset.

If you move institution, your expertise profile, your engagement history, your ratings, your published content and the income it generates move with you. Your institution owns its programme data; you own your professional record.

This matters more than it sounds. The reason faculty have historically had no portable professional reputation is that every record of their work lived inside an institutional system they left behind. That is the specific thing being fixed here.

India’s verified talent — from Nagpur, Coimbatore, Guwahati, not just IITs. That applies to faculty as much as it does to students.
